Demark supplied two VC002 bin compactors to NetEase's headquarters, greatly reducing the cost of waste removal , the number of waste bin and the occupied space.
NetEase's headquarters is located in Tianhe Zone in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, and is divided into two parks with more than 10,000 employees. Each park is equipped with a dedicated garbage room, with total 90 units 240L waste bin used to collect daily garbage, occasionally, all bins are not enough for the storage. But the dustcart need to collect the garbage in the early morning hours of the next day, which makes the garbage storage and sanitary cleaning management difficult. Moreover, the cost of waste removal is calculated per-bin-per-month with each bin costing RMB 380/month, not including the deposit and damage of the waste bin. Based on an average of 80 garbage cans per month, the monthly garbage cost is up to 30,000 RMB or more, and the total cost for one year is more than 360,000 RMB.
The bin compactor VC002 supplied by Demark, after onsite testing, 3 buckets of waste can be compacted into 2 buckets, which means that it can save about 1/3 units, which is equivalent to a reduction of about 120,000 yuan per year. And at least it can save more than 12 ㎡ of storage space, which part can be used for processing and storing more sorted recyclables, etc, the cleaners don't have to work in crowded site. It’s not only saving costs, but can also creating more value.
